When your mind will not stop scanning
Therapy for anxiety, panic, and depression for teens through seniors, in online sessions across Arizona.
Who this is for
Anxiety

This page is for individuals whose worry, fear, panic, or low mood has begun to affect how they experience everyday life. You may find yourself constantly anticipating what could go wrong, feeling overwhelmed by things that once seemed manageable, or struggling to quiet your mind and relax your body. For some, anxiety is connected to a traumatic experience, injury, medical crisis, or significant life change. For others, it has been part of their lives for as long as they can remember.
You may notice yourself avoiding situations, withdrawing from relationships, or saying no to things you once enjoyed because it feels easier or safer to stay within your comfort zone. Sometimes life begins to feel smaller, and you may wonder how to find your way back to feeling more confident, present, and connected. You don't have to navigate that alone.

How We Work With Anxiety
At a Pace That Meets You Where You Are

We take time to understand the terrain of your anxiety—what contributes to it, how it shows up in your body and daily life, and what you may have learned to do to feel safe. Together, we develop a personalized approach that helps you recognize patterns, manage overwhelming emotions, and build tools that feel useful in real life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you understand and shift thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, while DBT skills support emotional regulation and navigating moments when feelings become intense. Somatic therapy and mindfulness-based practices help you recognize your body's responses and develop ways to feel more grounded and present.
When anxiety is connected to past trauma or a distressing experience, EMDR may help process the memories and emotional responses that continue to affect you. We move at your pace, building a foundation of safety and stability before exploring experiences that may feel difficult to revisit.
Our goal isn't simply to help you feel less anxious. It's to help you feel more at home in yourself, trust your ability to navigate life's challenges, and reconnect with the people, experiences, and possibilities that matter to you.
Sessions
55 Minutes, Online Sessions
Between sessions we may suggest one small practice, like a short walk or a two minute breathing exercise, and check in on how it went.
Sessions are typically scheduled once or twice weekly, with timing agreed together. Sessions are held as online sessions anywhere in Arizona, in English or Swahili.
What can shift
Clients often notice the space between a trigger and a reaction growing. They make the call they were avoiding, take the drive, or sleep through the night more often. You are not broken. You are becoming.

Questions
Common questions

Do you prescribe medication?
No. We are therapists, not prescribers. With your authorization, we can coordinate with the physician who manages your medication.
Is anxiety therapy different from trauma therapy?
They often overlap. We start by understanding where your anxiety comes from, then choose an approach that fits.
Do you see clients for depression too?
Yes. Depression often shows up alongside anxiety and trauma, and we work with all three.
