Meet Maureen Njoroge, MS, MA, LAC-T

I believe everyone has a story, and that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating space for people to explore their experiences, better understand themselves, and discover new ways forward.
02
A Multicultural Perspective
Originally from Kenya, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work and a deep appreciation for how culture, relationships, and life experiences shape who we are. I am especially passionate about trauma therapy and helping people understand how difficult experiences can continue to affect their sense of safety, relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being. Our past can help explain who we are today, but it does not have to define who we become.
03
Clinical Experience

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication from Daystar University in Kenya. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I draw from CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring treatment to each person's needs, experiences, and goals.
04
Outside of Therapy
Outside of therapy, I am a mother, lifelong learner, and advocate for culturally responsive mental health care. I value family, meaningful relationships, personal growth, and continuing to learn from the people and communities around me.
05
A Place to Begin

I believe healing is possible when you have the space to be understood, supported, and empowered to find your own way forward. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin.
