Therapy for Healthcare Workers

Being able to keep working does not mean a difficult shift stops taking up space when you get home.

01

After the shift ends

The work may call for quick decisions, a steady voice, and attention to everyone else's needs. Later, you might replay a moment, feel impatient at home, or want to avoid another conversation. You may also be unsure what you are allowed to say about work. Therapy offers a setting to discuss your experience while keeping other people's identifying information out of an initial inquiry.

02

You do not have to reach a breaking point

Some healthcare workers seek support after a particular event. Others notice the accumulated weight of demanding days, changing schedules, or grief that did not have a place to go. There is no need to compare your experience with a colleague's before asking for help. A consultation can begin with the part of your life that feels affected and the questions you have about care.

03

More than the professional role

We want to understand you outside the job as well: your relationships, rest, responsibilities, and what you miss doing. It can be difficult to move from helping others to receiving support. You can talk about that discomfort, including worries about being judged, explaining too much, or not knowing what you want from therapy. The conversation does not have to arrive already organized.

04

Questions about privacy and fit

Ask your prospective clinician how confidentiality works, what its limits are, and how records are handled. A public website cannot answer every situation involving employment, licensing, or insurance. Bring those questions to the consultation instead of assuming an answer. We do not provide employer fitness-for-duty determinations through this service or imply that starting therapy resolves a professional requirement.

Making room around your schedule

Our client therapy is online in Arizona. Talk with us about current availability and what times you can reliably attend; shift flexibility should be discussed rather than assumed. Sessions last 55 minutes. The free 15-minute consultation is a place to ask about trauma work, grief, clinician fit, fees, and insurance. You do not need to include patient details or workplace records in the first message.
