Therapy for Older Adults
Later life brings its own losses, changes, and old memories. Online therapy across Arizona for adults 65 and up, at an unhurried pace.
01
It is not too late to talk about it

Many older adults grew up in a time when people did not talk about hard things. You may have carried a loss, an accident, or something from childhood for decades without ever naming it. Sometimes retirement, a health scare, or the death of a spouse brings those memories forward. Wanting to look at them now is not a sign of weakness. It can be a way of making room for the life you still have.
02
What older adults often bring
People in later life come to therapy for many reasons. Grief after losing a partner, friends, or a sense of independence. Fear and frustration after a fall, a hospital stay, or a new diagnosis. Old trauma that resurfaces when life slows down. Changes in family roles, from caring for others to being cared for. Anxiety about health or money. You can begin with whatever feels most present, and we will go from there.
03
Online sessions, made simple
Our sessions are by video across Arizona, so you do not need to drive. If technology feels unfamiliar, that is all right. We can walk through how to join before your first session, and a family member can help you set up if you wish, then step away for privacy. A tablet or computer with a camera works well. Tell us about hearing or vision needs, and we can adjust things like volume and pacing.
04
What a session can include
Sessions last 55 minutes. We go at a pace that feels comfortable and check in often. Some sessions focus on steadying your body when worry or memories rise. Others focus on talking through what has changed and what still matters to you. When it fits, approaches such as EMDR or mindfulness-based work may be part of it. You remain in charge of what you share and when.
05
Insurance and next steps

We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare / Optum, and can provide superbills for out-of-network plans. Medicare is not on our current list, so ask during the consultation about your specific coverage. We never promise coverage before it is checked. To begin, request a free 15-minute phone consultation. A request is not an appointment; the practice confirms a time with you.
